Approaches and practice in Transactional Analysis
After completing the foundation year, those who wish to go on to qualify as psychotherapist are able to move onto their clinical year training.
During clinical year one students will start a volunteer counselling placement and being to gain client experience.
The first clinical year is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the human condition or are committed to training as psychotherapists. During this year, participants begin to develop practical skills for working with clients while building advanced theoretical knowledge of Transactional Analysis (TA).

Redecision TA - Stuck-ness and making new Decisions.

Relational TA - How to use the relationship for change.

Integrative TA - When a reparative relationship is needed.

TA and body psychotherapy - How we hold script in the body.

Co-Creative TA - The integrating adult and present-centred relating.

Eco TA - Working with our environment and nature.

Working with groups - TA as a group therapy approach.

Assignments

As in foundation year, you will be required to keep a reflective learning journey, and complete two written assignments, each of 2000 words. Further to this, each month there will be an article to read in preparation for the following training weekend.
What will I gain from attending this training?
You will have a greater understanding of the different approaches within TA and have gained multiple ways to work differently with clients. You will also have gained a sense of how the therapy journey may unfold. On top of this, you will have completed the first year of the clinical training.
