What Will I Learn in Clinical Year Three?
The final year of training is designed to challenge you further, personally and professionally. We will focus on helping you refine and deepen your understanding of working with more complex presentations.
During this final year, your trainer will also support you to begin writing the written part of your final exam to become a fully qualified psychotherapist.
In person psychotherapy training in Lewes, East Sussex, leading to UKCP accreditation.
What Will I Gain From Attending This Training?
The four years formal training component needed for UKCP accreditation, totalling 600 hours of training during that time. The confidence to work deeply, and skillfully, enabling you to pick and choose appropriate interventions depending on your client and the stage of therapy.

Multi-Leveled Year Groups
For the clinical years, students from all three years of training learn together within a single cohort. This creates a rich and dynamic learning environment where students benefit from a diversity of perspectives, experiences, and stages of development. To ensure a supportive and engaging environment, each cohort is limited to a maximum of 12 students.
Rolling Curriculum
Our clinical programme follows a three-year rolling curriculum, allowing students to explore Transactional Analysis in depth from a range of perspectives. One year focuses on Schools of Transactional Analysis, providing a thorough grounding in the major TA approaches and theories. A second year explores Professional Practice, covering the ethical, relational, and practical aspects of working as a psychotherapist. The third year focuses on Specialisms, examining the application of TA to a variety of client groups, presenting issues, and areas of clinical interest. Together, these three strands provide a comprehensive and well-rounded training that supports both professional competence and clinical confidence.
